A rejuvenated microelectronics
company is leading the way to business success in the Tees Valley with the
launch of a facility at Skelton. Cleveland Circuits, part of the Cleveland
Technologies Group, has created 35 jobs at its £600,000 in-house printed
circuit board population service opened by chairman of One NorthEast, Dr. John
Bridge.
Andrew Gleghorn, managing director of Cleveland Technologies said: We decided some time ago that we could not afford to rest on our laurels. The way forward was to commit to long-term investment rather than short-term profit making. As a result we have improved market penetration and competitiveness in the face of increasing foreign competition and currency fluctuations. With the continued support of our customers and employees, we can see no reason why the group will not continue to grow and prosper. |
The company commented: Significant growth, in fact growth at all, is not currently the norm in the electronics manufacturing market place and it is, we believe, our policy of continuous investment in training and equipment which has helped us to move forward in such a positive way. Cleveland Circuits is proud of its good reputation and is committed to providing the highest levels of service and delivery All orders are processed using a computerised Manufacturing Resource Planning system. MRP ensures the most efficient production of your order by scheduling actions to meet the required delivery. By monitoring every key stage of the production process using barcode technology, our engineers can provide live status feedback, keeping you informed about the progress of your order. |
